FAQ

Do you offer a phone consultation?

The right match in therapy is so important, and finding a therapist can be difficult. I offer a complimentary phone consultation to determine if we could be a good fit to work together. If I feel I’m unable to meet your needs, I can refer you to an appropriate clinician or agency. To schedule please fill out my Contact Form, or leave me a confidential voicemail at (424) 256-3965.

Who do you work with?

I enjoy working with individuals (adults and teenagers) and couples.

What is your policy on telehealth?

In addition to in-person psychotherapy in Los Angeles, I provide phone or video teletherapy for residents of California, Washington, and Arizona.

What is your cancellation policy?

I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations can be rescheduled without charge if possible, within the week of a missed session.

What is your fee? Do you accept insurance?

We discuss fees at our initial consultation. I reserve part of my practice for sliding scale treatments. Sessions are 50 minutes long.

I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill through insurance. I can provide you with a superbill to submit to insurance for reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance company to get information about your out-of-network benefits.

“No Surprises Act” Information

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, commonly known as the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. It is recommended that once you receive your good faith estimate you keep a copy for your records or take a picture for future reference. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call HHS at 1-800-985-3059
